This course provides insight into the fundamentals of testing, the principles can be applied to any existing methodology.
You will
- understand what testing is and why one should test;
- get the test process and how the different steps in the process map on different software development models;
- understand static testing;
- know dynamic testing: test levels, test types and common test techniques;
- get insight in test management: test team organization, test planning, monitoring and control;
- be aware of which types of test tools exist;
- have practical experience in writing a defect report.
